What’s in Your Stash?

No matter how many hair coverings and accessories you have, you always need more. A new color, a new style, something on sale, something because you’re hungry and trying to avoid the Ben and Jerry’s in the freezer. I can come up with any excuse for needing a new accessory, even though my tichel drawer is overflowing and I keep knocking over my hat and headband box and making a mess in my closet. So I got it in my head recently to count up how many tichels, headbands, etc., I have. And here are my results!
- 5 pre-tieds
- 22 square tichels and 4 rectangular
- 23 stretchy headbands (some of these are only worn under tichels to prevent slipping though)
- 8 sash-style headbands (the kind you have to tie)
- 5 bandanas and triangular scarves
- 13 berets and chaponnes (including the muffin cap I wear to Renaissance Festivals)
I don’t know. Is that a lot?

I have an angora cloche, and an angora beret. I have probably about twenty ponytailers, one plain heavy duty barrette, one sparkly butterfly barrette, a couple of tiny sparkly butterfly barrettes that I can only wear when my hair is a certain way because they are so small and a few stretched out EZ Combs.
no no dont make me count…while they are hidden away in two drawers i can pretend ignorance lol.

I have a bunch of tichels my sister bought for me in Israel, lots of pretied bandanas, a bunch of hats (but mostly for the winter), and so many headbands that some I haven’t worn yet. I’ve only been married for a year but it looks like more with all my boxes of hair things! The funny part is that I want to buy more.

I have two baseball caps, and I think I have one headband.
15-20 hats. Only about 5 for the summer- too few for this heat!
I have 2 pre-tied bandannas, 6 caps, 20 tichels, and 3 berets. I also have several pre-tied headbands on their way from Cover Your Hair. It has become an obsession I think.
I have a closet full of hats and head coverings! I am afraid to count!

2 scarves that can be worn as tichels or folded into headbands.
8 bandanas
I keep buying more tichel and I have a drawer full of them…. yet I still always wear the same old trusty one.
I have 2 pretied bandana’s about 30 funky headbands and 7 plain ones..2 reg bandana’s..6 pretty head scarves..about 10 hats…

i have 4 pre-tieds 2 square tichels and one regular tichel, and i have clips for my shaitels, but my collection is considerably small and i would enjoy building it up!!!
I have numerous barrettes and several headbands. I also have two EZ combs. I’m wanting a tichel, though.
I have about 10 baseball caps, although I really only wear 2 of them, probably 15 headbands, also only wear 2 or 3 of my favorite ones, and same goes for hats, pretieds, tichels, and bandanas. I am always looking for new things, but I end up wearing my few favorite ones over and over.
My stash is limited right now. I’m hopping to get more soon though.
I have 1 Tichel, 2 bandannas, a headband, and just plain pony holders. I’ve got to get some more Tichels, my daughter thinks she’s getting mine when she gets home for the summer…lol.

I have 6 pretied bandana’s, 3 square scarves I cant do anything with,lol, three hats that I wear,1 or 2 regular bandana’s and 2 or 3 homemade knit caps that I love and wear all the time in the winter and maybe a couple of headbands that I dont wear. I probably need to do something with the scarves and headbands since they are just taking up space, I dont like to keep things anymore if not being used.
I have 2 shelves of Israeli tichels & a few snoods, & 2 drawers of snoods, etc, plus some hatboxes of hats, berets,etc.. I never even peek into the drawers or hatboxes, so I really should do a thorough cleaning… before next Passover, LOL ;D
I have 3 headbands and some hair ties — that’s it. I really want some more beautiful hair accessories! Thanks for the chance!

I have no idea how many tichels I have, because my mom gave me some she no longer wears when I got married, but I have yet to wear some of them. I think I have about 5 pre-tieds though. I have a bunch of headbands and had to refrain from buying a really cute floral one I saw recently. I could always use more headbands and hats though, cuz I don’t have enough cute, everyday hats.
I have 2 plastic headbands, 3 hats, 1 cap, 1 visor, 2 clippies and a few cloth covered rubber bands.

I LIVE in my pretieds when I am not wearing my shaitel. So i have about (AT LEAST) 12 pretieds…there may be more hiding under my bed and like 8 stretchy headbands. Please don’t make me count my daughter’s headbands! Our neighbor just gave her like 8 she had outgrown!
I have one Israeli tichel, I only recently tried it out and have to get used to it! I don’t like hats on me!
I have 5 headbands,too many hats to count,lots of scrunchies.
I have none! And in desperate need of something for my hair during this hot summer.
I have four hard headbands that I would actually wear (i.e., that I like). And three soft headbands!

I have about 7 hats, 10 rectangular/triangular tichels, 3 pretieds…definitely not enough since I don’t really wear sheitels/wigs anymore (ergo the hats are virtually disqualified).

I have 8 pretied bandannas (plus one that I can’t seem to find), 18 tichels, 5 bandannas which I don’t really wear anymore (same for the 3-4 snoods), and 2 bandanna headbands, 1 feather headband, and like 5 tail headbands. I love hair accessories! (Plus a whole bunch of hats and caps and fancy hats and who knows?) I would keep buying, but I only have one head! Maybe one per day of the year?

I have four lobster claw type clips, six snoods, two bun covers, one Tudor style cap, four hats, six pashmina shawls, two knit hats, one beret, two wimples, and a plain muslin mob cap for events

I have a ton of hair accessories. I have a pack of hair clips that I used for putting up my hair when I would would put on my sheitel when I first got married. I have about 20 ponytail holders for putting up my hair. I have 4 hats, that I used to wear with my fall. I have 5 bandanas. I have 5 Israeli tichels. I have about 7 pre-tieds. I have 1 snood. I have 2 scrunchies for when I wear the pretieds. I have 2 headbands
I had brain surgery 3 weeks ago Friday. I purchased several to cover my partially shaved head. They are so cute and I LOVE TTHEM. I have about thirty now and will continue to wear them long after my hair grows back!! I get lots of compliments. THANK YOU

I had brain surgery 3 weeks ago this Friday. I started purchasing head coverings to cover my partially shaved head. I LOVE THEM!! I get tons of compliments and my collection is approximately 30. I am sure it is going to keep growing and they will all be worn long after my hair grows back. THEY ARE SO CUTE!! Thank You!

Oh and a couple of hats (mostly winter) as well as a Calgary Stampede cowboy hat (got it here last year).

I have about 6 or 7 pre-tieds, 3 tichels, 3 or so scarves that work as tichels, and 3 hats. I haven’t worn headbands since I got married and started covering my hair fully.
