Never really thought about cookies and accessories as alike but I see your point. I tend to bake the same sort of things and wear the same colors. Makes me think about mixing it all up….a little change is good!

M&Ms remind me of my childhood, snowballs remind me of Christmas…
ooooy-gooooy chocolate chip reminds me to call my daughter to ask how she is… and to remember her with cookie face at her birthday party when she was maybe 6!

I love it! I am blessed (cursed?) with the confidence to borrow styles from other cultures that work for me, so I’m not above wearing turkish pants while wrapping my head in a traditional Jewish style. I may get funny looks and nobody I know wants to try my “flavor,” but I’m comfortable and happy, and that’s what’s important!

Speaking of changing it up- I made some cookies with strawberry cake mix, coconut, and pecans- should have added chocolate chips, too! They were awesome good. And yes, mixing it up in the fashion world makes life more interesting, too. Which is why I want a snood.

The white-chocolate-chip-craisin cookies sound delicious. I usually mix things up a little bit, too–that probably started from needing to substitute something and having it turn out pretty darn good.

I do think it’s good to shake things up, but hubby does not. I tell him he is my dependably delicious vanilla ice cream, based on this article
So on our brownie pans, half get the nuts. You can imagine the plain cookies that he loves, and the interesting things that I try in mine.
