Ahh! I’d have to chose Walt Disney World as my favorite place to vacation to…family fun, great food (who knew right? it’s award worthy in many restaurants!), exciting rides, gorgeous warm weather…the list goes on and on!

Although it’s not really a vacation when I go, my favorite place has to be Jerusalem. I have 3 married children living there and 4 grandchildren, 1 more due in a couple of weeks,B”H. Looking forward to seeing them all in May. If I win the free shawl, I would buy 2 more and bring them as gifts to my daughter and 2 daughter-in-laws.
I vacationed with my family at the Historic Triangle (Jmaesotnw, Yorktown and Williamsburg) in VA for Vision Forum’s treasure hunt and celebration! I would LOVE to go again!

I would love to visit Israel, but my favorite place to visit has always been Germany. I lived there for so long and got to see so much history, the good and the bad, and got to experience so many different cultures.
I love retreating daily to a quiet place I have created in a room off of my bedroom. I have filled it with things I have collected from around the world, wonderful books, warm blankets, pictures and more. It is so peaceful, like a vacation every day!

Mexico, of course! Beaches, jungles, great food, what more do you need.
As much as I *dislike* the ocean I *LOVE* Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard! There is something about the peace and quiet of the villages and small towns. I love how people know you by name, and remember what you like and dislike (I’m a Diet Coke with LIME person….never lemons, and they remember that!!)
It hearkens back to a lost time of innocence and friendliness that we seem to have forgotten. Going there for the summers helps me to remember (though I wasn’t old enough to live those times) to be kinder to my fellow man….and woman….and child!
Texas!! That’s where my sister and some VERY good friends of mine live!

I’d like to visit Horse Pens 40 in Alabama, USA. http://horsepens40.tripod.com/ It has 8,000 years of history of human habitation; but besides that, some say that it was a cave whose roof collapsed eons ago. It’s a great place for gentle hiking and just sitting and thinking.

There are so many favorite places, but one of the best was Cape Cod, Mass/Vermont, during the Fall.
The beach. I really don’t care which beach, just any beach. We’re land-locked right now and I really miss the beach. It’s been so long since we’ve seen the ocean.
i would viset the Bahamas sunny relaxing!!!
One of my favorite vacations was Miami. It had a ton of kosher restaurants and we stayed in a house with a pool so we could swim! It was amazing.
anyplace with a huge jacuzzi, lots of bubbles, candles, and nice wine..
My favorite place to go on vacation is to my daughters. She moved to Maine a while back, so that will be the new favorite!

Hmmm….My favorite vacation place. I really enjoyed spending a week in a cabin in KY. I got to meet a wonderful pen-pal who has become my closest friend. So, I’d have to say KY.

Rocky Mountains–so beautiful and the states are so different.
Chapman Lake, PA – the wonderful vacation/summer spot of my childhood! Fresh air, gorgeous landscape, swimming all day, bike riding, horses, lots of friends and family and many amazing memories!!!
Hope to see Israel soon and it will be a favorite!

Miami!!!!!! It was my first vacation spot with my husband
Rhinelander, Wisconsin. We used to have a summer home nestled deep in the northern Wisconsin forests right next to a small lake. It is the most beautiful, peaceful place I have ever been!

My favorite place to go on vacation is anywhere near water be it the beach or the lake. We have plenty of it here on the Texas Gulf Coast, plenty of great spots to vaction.
We went to JELLY STONE park near St. Louis / Six flags (missouri) that was the funnest time I had ever had. We camped out at the park, went to six flags one day and went to St Louis Museum the next. We had a blast. I hope to do it again before my daughter gets too old.

I just read the history page again, and it says that this site is 15,000 years old!
Any Texas beach is fine by me. It’s not the sun I care about–I’ll spend the time under an umbrella or big hat anyway–but the water, the smell of it, the spray, the sound. That is relaxation to me.
A beach…any beach…sand, water, and waves! Ahh, the life
